The crash occurred at 1:00 PM on July 6th, 2024, on Route E south of Akeman Bridge Road. Jayden J. Butler was driving a 2008 Ford F150, attempting to make a right turn. 50-year-old Eric L. Statham was operating a 2022 Indian Challenger with 40-year-old Chrystal L. Hines riding as a passenger. The Challenger struck the F150 as it was attempting to turn. Chrystal Hines sustained serious injuries and Eric Statham sustained moderate injuries. Both Hines and Statham were transported to University Hospital in Columbia Missouri by Boone County EMS.
