One person died and four more are injured in an accident on Sunday in Dade County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Mercury Milan driven by Kree La Htoo, 27, Monett, was southbound on MO 39 two miles south of Greenfield.
The vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country driven by a 16-year-old from Everton.
Htoo was pronounced dead at the scene.
EMS transported a passenger in the Mercury Mular T. Ehku, 27, Monett, the 16-year-old driver, a one-year-old and a Tish M. Turpin, 40, Everton, to Cox South.
The occupants of the van were properly restrained. The MSHP did not have details on seat belt usage by the occupants of the Mercury.
Tish Turpin and her family could have a claim against the insurance company that insures the Mercury that crossed into their lane of traffic.
