An Eldon woman was seriously injured Saturday afternoon after being pinned by a car against a gas station wall in Miller County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occured when Taylor Cotten, 21, of Eldon, sought to reposition her vehicle in a parking space. The vehicle traveled onto the sidewalk and struck Tabitha Stark, 26, also of Eldon, who was pinned against the gas station’s rock wall at 7 Acorn Drive in Eldon. Stark was transported by helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia and Cotten was not injured.
The 2006 Kia Sorento Cotten was driving received minor damage and was driven from the scene.
