The crash occurred on August 29th, 2024, around 11:00PM on Highway ZZ just west of Holly Lane in Cuba, Missouri. 39-year-old Corey L. Abrams was travelling westbound on a Huffy Santa Fe motorized bicycle when another vehicle travelling westbound drove too close. The unknown vehicle then struck the front tire of the bicycle, causing the crash, before fleeing the scene. Corey Abrams was seriously injured and was transported to Mercy St. Louis via North Crawford Ambulance District. Abrams was not wearing a safety device at the time of the accident. The motorized bicycle sustained extensive damage and was removed by Chris and Son’s Towing.
