blog

The crash occurred on September 13th, 2024, at 6:35 AM at MO-5 and Twin Rivers Point. 21-year-old Camron J. Mell was driving a 2024 Honda CRF450 motocross bicycle northbound across the intersection. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old juvenile was driving a 2007 Ford F250 westbound when they failed to yield at a stop sign. The Ford F250 then travelled into the path of the oncoming Honda motorcycle, causing the crash. Camron Mell sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital via Lake West Ambulance. The 17-year-old juvenile was uninjured. The 2024 Honda CRF450 was moderately damaged and was towed by a private party while the 2007 Ford F250 received minor damage and was driven from the scene. Both drivers were wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.
