The crash occurred on September 15th, 2024, around 6:00AM on Route CC just north of County Road 449. 26-year-old Caleb T. Ellingsworth was traveling northbound on a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle when they collided with a cow that was in the roadway. They were not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. Caleb Ellingsworth sustained serious injuries and was transported via ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia. The Suzuki motorcycle was moderately damaged and towed by Becky’s Towing – Fulton. The vehicle was not covered by insurance.
