According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Mark Swindell, 59, was travelling southbound on U.S. 63 when Brandon Wainman, 25, was crossing U.S. 63 at Breedlove Rd. Wainman travelled into the path of Swindell causing Swindell to collide with Wainman.
Swindell travelled off the right side of the road, down an embankment and struck a tree. Swindell was pronounced dead at the scene.
