According to Missouri Highway Patrol there was a head-on crash Tuesday Jan 3 at 7:35 pm.
The crash occurred near Lake Road in Boone County. Four people were killed and three were injured. Among those killed were Kieth Sumner, 19, Jessica McKinlay, 29, Christopher McClain, 34, and a 10 year old girl. Among the seriously injured were three juveniles aged 2, 3 and 6.
The accident occurred when the vehicle driven by Sumner was driving Southbound in the Northbound lanes and struck the vehicle driven by McKinlay head-on.
Dealing with the death of a loved one is often one of the worst experiences an individual could endure. This is especially true when the death of that family member could be attributed to the negligence of another person.
