Miller County on 5/16/20 at approximately 10:22pm.
Two Missourians died in a crash in Miller County Saturday night according to a Missouri Highway Patrol Report.
The crash occurred when driver, John S Surface, 28, of Camdenton Missouri was travelling eastbound on Highway 42, just east of Hawkins Cemetery Road. According to the report, Surface was driving a 2005 Chevy Silverado and crossed the center of the roadway crashing head-on into a 2003 Ford Explorer, driven by Elizabeth J. Goewey, 44, of Iberia.
Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene by the Miller County Coronors Office.
This is MSHP Troop F’s 15th and 16th fatalities this year.
