Ralls County, MO — April 07, 2020, a motor-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle took the life of 18-year-old Donald E. Quigley, and injured 79-year-old Joseph S. Barnett on Tuesday afternoon in Ralls County, Missouri.
The deadly crash happened just before 4:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 36, about four miles east of Monroe City. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2007 Yamaha motorcycle, driven by Quigley, struck a 1998 Toyota Camry, driven by Barnett, when the Camry failed to yield.
The Marion and Ralls County Sheriff’s Department and Monroe City Fire and Police Department responded to the scene. A Monroe City Ambulance transported Quigley to University Hospital, where Dr. Ahmad Salman pronounce him dead. Barnett suffered minor injuries. Trooper Johnson continues to investigate the crash at this time.
