On February 27th, at 2:19pm, a collision occurred involving three vehicles on Route MM, about a mile west of Hannibal. A 2013 Chevrolet Impala, driven by a 27-year-old unrestrained male, was struck by a 2020 Ford F-250, driven by a 37-year-old restrained male, who failed to yield at a stop sign. As a result of the initial collision, the driver of the Chevrolet Impala lost control of his vehicle, and hit a 2020 Lincoln Navigator, driven by a 34-year-old restrained female.
Both the Ford F-250 and the Lincoln Navigator were totaled in the collision and were towed from the scene by Heartland Towing and Recovery. The Chevrolet Impala was also totaled and was towed from the scene by Scott’s Minor Collision and Towing. The driver of the Navigator sustained moderate injuries and was transported from the scene of the crash to Hannibal Regional Hospital by Marion County Ambulance. The driver of the Impala sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash, and was flown via Survival Flight to University Hospital in Columbia.
