One Seriously Injured in Three Car Collision in Reynolds County

At 4:10pm on March 12th, a three-car collision occurred at Highway 21 and Highway V, two miles south of Centerville in Reynolds County. The crash involved a 2024 Toyota 4 Runner, driven by a 65-year-old woman, who failed to yield to a 2005 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 33-year-old woman. The 4 Runner then hit a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 41-year-old female, before finally stopping.

The 4 Runner and the Corolla both received extensive damage in the collision and were towed by Aissies Towing and Forshee Towing, respectively. The Silverado received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The driver of the Corolla sustained serious injuries in the collision and was transported to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis by Air Evac. She was the only person involved in the collision that was not reported to be utilizing a safety device at the time.
