blog

The crash occurred on October 26th, 2024, at 2:33 pm on US Highway 36 at Meadville Junction. 54-year-old Alexander A. Lane was driving Eastbound in a 2023 Jeep Compass. Meanwhile, 71-year-old Richard L. Frazier was headed northbound in a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado. Frazier in the Silverado failed to yield to Lane in the Compass, causing the crash. Lane’s vehicle ran off the road and overturned. Alexander Lane was seriously injured and was transported via Linn County Ambulance to Pershing Memorial Hospital, while Richard Frazier was uninjured. The Jeep Compass was totaled and towed by Precision Wrecker. The Chevrolet Silverado was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
