At 1:28pm on April 1st, a crash occurred between a 1997 Ford F150 and a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country on the south outer road of I-70, at Exit 52.3. The collision transpired as the Ford crossed the center line of the outer road and struck the Chrysler.
The Ford received moderate damage in the crash, while the Chrysler was totaled. Both were towed from the scene by Meyer Motor. A passenger of the Ford, a 49-year-old woman, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Concordia EMS. The driver of the Chrysler, a 78-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries. She was taken to CenterPoint Medical Center by Concordia EMS.
