At 9:20am on April 17th, an accident occurred as a result of hydroplaning on North Highway 5, just south of Oakwood Drive in Laclede County. A 2021 Infiniti Q50, traveling southbound on Highway 5, slid and collided with the side of a 2017 Toyota 4Runner. Both cars were totaled in the accident and towed from the scene by C&S Towing.
The driver of the Infiniti, a 35-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries. Two juveniles in the same vehicle sustained serious injuries, and all were transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Lake Ozark by Mercy Ambulance. Another juvenile, an occupant of the 4Runner, sustained moderate injuries, and was taken to the same hospital as well.
AW Smith Law focuses on serious personal injury and wrongful death claims. The number of lives forever changed or taken as a result of accidents like this is high, and continually rising.
