Just after 5:30pm on April 19th, a collision occurred between two cars on 408 Business 13 in Johnson County. A 2021 Toyota Camry was passing multiple cars on a hill, when a 2001 Ram 1500 swerved to miss them. At the same time, the Camry swerved as well, and the cars collided. Both cars received extensive damage in the collision and were removed from the scene by Tip Top Towing and Recovery.
The driver of the Camry, 25-year-old man, sustained minor injuries in the collision. The driver of the Ram truck, a 37-year-old woman, sustained moderate injuries. An occupant of the same vehicle, a woman, sustained serious injuries. All were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD.
