Two people injured in SXS accident in Cooper County

The crash occurred at around 2:15 AM on July 6th, 2024, on Conservation Drive, one mile north of wildlife road in Copper County Missouri. 51-year-old Chris M. Brauer was driving a 2012 Polaris Ranger with 45-year-old Miranda L. Brauer riding as a passenger. The vehicle was traveling north on conservation drive when it slid and went off the road to the right. The Polaris overturned and ejected both the driver and the passenger. The vehicle struck two trees before coming to a rest facing north. Miranda Brauer sustained moderate injuries and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia Missouri by Pettis County Ambulance. Chris Brauer sustained serious injuries and was transported to University Hospital by MU Air Care. There was only minor damage to the Polaris, and it was towed from the scene by Nash Towing.

Offroad vehicles like the Polaris Ranger can be incredibly dangerous. This is only confounded by the fact that these vehicles are not required to carry liability insurance. If you or a loved one has been injured in a UTV accident its important that you contact an experienced personal injury attorney. One of the available avenues for recovery is a product liability claim against the manufacturer of the vehicle. At the AW Smith Law firm our team has the experience, specialized information, and experts needed to win a case against these manufacturers.
