blog

The crash occurred on July 10th, 2024, at 12:30 PM. 81-year-old Yvonne S. Rayhart was driving her 2014 Chevrolet Equinox on MO 87 near Lions Road heading North. 18-year-old Zander P. Berkstresser pulled out of a private drive in a 2008 Dodge Avenger and entered the path of the Equinox. The failure to yield caused the Equinox to hit the Dodge Avenger. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage. The Dodge was secured at the owner’s residence and the Equinox was towed to Prater Body Works in Eldon Missouri. Zander Berkstresser sustained minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. Yvonne Rayhart had moderate injuries and was transported to Capital region medical Center in Jefferson City Missouri by Miller County EMS.
