On June 15th, 2024, at around 4:30 PM two motorcycles collided on Highway 54 near Route D in Camden County, Missouri. The crash occurred between a 2006 Harley Davidson Sportster, operated by 27-year-old Kyle A. Lockman, and a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja, operated by 53-year-old Di V. Ly. Both motorcycles were travelling eastbound on Highway 54 with a large group of motorcyclists. The Kawasaki moved to the right just as the Harley Davidson was attempting to pass it and they collided. Both motorcycles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene of the crash. Di V. Ly sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene. 27-year-old Micayla N. Ellison was a passenger on the Harley Davidson, and she sustained moderate injuries. Micayla Ellison was transported to Lake Regional Hospital by Mercy Ambulance.
