The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified a St. Louis man killed Tuesday night in a crash on eastbound Interstate 70 in Montgomery County.
Troopers said a car driven by 30-year-old Camaron D. Turner crashed into the back of a semi-truck trailer near the 166 mile-marker around 9:37 p.m.
The semi-truck was slowing down to turn off into a nearby rest area, according to the crash report.
Troopers said the Montgomery County coroner pronounced Thomas dead at the scene around 10:25 p.m. The driver of the semi-truck wasn’t hurt in the crash.
Thomas wasn’t wearing a seat belt, according to the highway patrol.
Dealing with the death of a loved one is often one of the worst experiences an individual could endure. This is especially true when the death of that family member could be attributed to the negligence of another person.
