A 78-year-old female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on December 14th, 2024, at 8:07 pm. A 2009 Nissan Versa driven by a 47-year-old male was driving down N Mitchell St in Warrensburg when it struck the pedestrian. The accident occurred 200 feet north of E Gay St in Johnson County.
The vehicle was minorly damaged and driven from the scene. The driver was unharmed, wearing a seat belt, and insured. The 78-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured and transported to the CenterPoint Medical Center.
