One woman injured after being rear ended in Pulaski County

At 3:50 PM on July 2nd, 2024, a crash occurred between a 2016 Ford Escape, driven by 51-year-old Wendy A. Ellzey and a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis, driven by 25-year-old Katelyn M. Hutchins. Ellzey was stopped in preparation of making a left turn when Hutchins was unable to stop in time and slid into the rear of the Ford Escape. Both vehicles were headed southbound on Highway 133 about 5 miles north of Richland. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. Ellzey sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Phelps Health by Pulaski County Ambulance. The Ford Escape had moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The Mercury Grand Marquis sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene of the crash by Genes Towing.
