The crash occurred on September 30th, 2024, at 3:35 PM on Payne Road, North of Route A. 63-year-old James B. Ogden was headed southbound on a 2005 Harley Davidson Electraglide motorcycle while a 16-year-old juvenile was driving northbound in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The juvenile driver then failed to maintain the right half of the roadway before striking the Ogden and the motorcycle in the other lane, causing the crash. James Ogden was seriously injured and was transported via ambulance to University Hospital. Ogden was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The 2005 Harley Davidson was totaled and towed by Kendall’s Towing. The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.
