The crash occurred on August 26th, 2024, around 6:00PM at Highway 5 and Kansas Road in Laclede County. 34-year-old Larry Woods was traveling northbound in a 2018 GMC Sierra. Meanwhile, 23-year-old Logan S. Lawrence was traveling eastbound in a 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck when they failed to yield to Larry Woods’ vehicle. Lawrence and the Chevrolet crossed the roadway and struck the rear of the GMC, causing the crash. Larry Woods was moderately injured in the accident and was transported by Mercy Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Lebanon. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The 2018 GMC Sierra sustained moderate damage and was towed by Paul’s Towing; the 2003 Chevrolet pickup sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
