MACON COUNTY, Mo. — Four teens were injured, with one being airlifted to the hospital, following a single-vehicle rollover crash Thursday night.
The crash happened in Macon County just before 8:30 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Katie Sheets, 19, of Macon lost control of her vehicle on a curve.
That caused her Ford Escape to overturn.
Sheets was seriously injured in the crash and was life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia.
Three other teens were inside the vehicle.
Kari Russell, 17, also of Macon, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital via ambulance.
Two other teens, a 16-year-old female and a 15-year-old male, both from Macon, suffered minor injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to the online crash report, none of the teens were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
