According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A car wreck occurred Thursday Jan 28, 2021 on Missouri Route ) at Hillsboro Road in St. Francois County, MO at 8:57 PM. A 1997 GMC Suburban 1500 driven by Daniel Bochantin, 32, was traveling Westbound on Route O and failed to stop for a posted stop sign and traveled into the path of a 2002 Jeep Cherokee driven by Gary McFarland, 57.
McFarland struck the right side of Bochantin’s vehicle and then the Suburban overturned ejecting front seat passenger 1.
McFarland and 2 others were seriously injured. McFarland was taken to Parkland Health Center by St. Francois County Ambulance.
