Floresa Greeley, 17, of Sedalia is Seriosly Injured in Head On Crash

A Sedalia teenage driver suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle, head-on traffic crash in Pettis County on Sunday.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a southbound vehicle, driven by 17-year-old Floresa Greeley, and a northbound vehicle, driven by 35-year-old Brittany Spellerberg, of Independence, each traveled across the center line of the roadway and struck each other.

Greeley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was flown by Life Flight helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. Spellerberg was transported by Pettis County ambulance to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence for treatment of moderate injuries.

The crash happened at 6:32 p.m. on Route M, south of U.S. Highway 50.
