The crash occurred on September 26th, 2024, around 8:30 AM at Route M and Route C, eight miles south of Holliday, Missouri. 59-year-old Leland R. Ronimous was travelling westbound in a 1999 Chevrolet 1500. Meanwhile, 46-year-old Serhii Uzun was headed northbound in a 2015 Ford F250. As the Chevrolet 1500 crossed the intersection, the Ford F250 failed to stop at a stop sign, travelling into the path of the other vehicle and causing the crash. Leland Ronimous was seriously injured and was life-flighted by MU Air Evac to University Hospital; Ronimous was not wearing a seat belt at the time. Serhii Uzun was uninjured. The Chevrolet 1500 was totaled and towed from the scene by A1 Towing. The Ford F250 was moderately damaged and towed by the owner, while its towed unit was removed by A1 Towing.
