LACLEDE COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Thursday in Laclede County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia driven by Tipton J. McCurley, 58, Eucha, OK., was westbound on Interstate 44 just west of the Richland exit.The semi struck a pedestrian identified as Cullen T. May, 36, Springfield, who was on the roadway. May was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Holman Funeral Home in Lebanon. McCurley was not injured.
