Three were seriously injured following a Clinton County accident Tuesday morning.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Crystal Kraus, 30, of Smithville was heading southbound on 169 Highway near Grayson and steered across the center line to avoid a rear-end collision with another vehicle in her lane. That caused her vehicle to hit an approaching vehicle head-on. Taffi Dennis, 49, of Trimble was the driver of the other vehicle.
Both of the drivers were seriously injured. A four year old boy in the Kraus vehicle was also injured. All were taken to the hospital.
The accident took place around 8:15 Tuesday morning.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s department and Plattsburg Police Department assisted the highway patrol.
