A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday evening in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and two motorcycles in Pulaski County.
The crash happened around 5:48 p.m. on July 18, 2026, on eastbound Interstate 44 at the 157-mile marker. A tractor-trailer experienced a tire failure, which forced the vehicle into the median. The tractor-trailer then overturned and caught fire.
Two Harley-Davidson motorcycles were struck by flying debris from the crash. The driver of one motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken by EMS to a local hospital. The tractor-trailer driver suffered minor injuries and sought treatment independently.
The tractor-trailer was totaled and towed from the scene. One motorcycle sustained moderate damage, while the other had minor damage. Both motorcycles were driven from the scene.
