A six-vehicle crash blocked eastbound Interstate 70 near the Rocheport Bridge in Boone County on Thursday morning, June 11, 2026. According to Boone County Joint Communications, the crash happened near the 117 mile marker between Boonville and Columbia.
Both eastbound lanes were initially shut down after the crash. Reporting alerted that one lane reopened shortly before 8 a.m., and the second lane reopened around 8:40 a.m. Heavy traffic was visible on and near the Rocheport Bridge through the MoDOT Traveler Map.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said six vehicles were involved in the crash and that multiple people were injured. The extent of those injuries was not included in preliminary reporting.
