blog

The crash occurred on July 18th, 2024 around 12:05AM on Jade Drive, two miles south of Brookfield, Missouri in Linn County. 48-year-old Justin L. Thompson was driving a 2024 Polaris Ranger UTV westbound. The vehicle then ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Justin Thompson was not wearing a safety device at the time of the incident and sustained serious injuries. Thompson was transported via Life Flight Eagle helicopter to University Medical Center. The Polaris Ranger UTV was totaled and then towed by Procession Towing.

Offroad vehicles such as UTVs can be especially dangerous when driven on roadways that are typically occupied with larger vehicles and designed for higher speeds. Individuals are not required to carry liability insurance for these vehicles. This can make dealing with property damage and medical bills particularly challenging when involved in an accident. Due to the unique nature of these incidents, it is best to seek an attorney that has experience in specialized circumstances such as this one.
