blog

At 12:39pm on April 16th, a collision occurred involving two motorcycles on northbound Business 71, four miles south of Savannah in Andrew County, Missouri. As a 1997 Harley Davidson Sportster began turning left at a median crossover, a 2015 Harley Davidson FXDL failed to observe the turn and side-swiped the Sportster. Both bikes sustained minor damage in the collision and were displaced by Blue Knight Towing.

The driver of the FXDL bike, a 22-year-old man, sustained minor injuries in the collision; he was transported privately to a hospital to receive his own care. The driver of the Sportster, a 35-year-old man, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Mosaic Hospital by Andrew County EMS. Neither men were reported to have been utilizing safety devices at the time of the collision.
