According to the Missouri Hwy Patrol.
A car with three girls; Kayla Langley, Shannon Lise, and Bianna Pettis, hit a deer and were stalled in the median. Sonya Freels stopped to help and put her flashers on.
While the car was stalled in the median on HWY 63 in Randolph County about 2 miles South of Moberly another car driven by Marin Tadrus, crashed into the stalled vehicle causing it to hit Langley, Lise, Pettis and Freels who were standing near the car.
Sonya Freels, Bianna Pettis and Marin Tadrus suffered serious injuries and were transported to University Hospital in Columbia. Shannon Lise and Kayla Langley suffered moderate injuries and were also transported to University Hospital in Columbia.
