Car Collision Seriously Injures Three in Webster County

blog

At 4:24pm on March 22nd, a collision occurred at 4215 Highway Z, four miles west of Seymour, Missouri, in Webster County. The crash ensued as a 2001 Nissan X-Terra traveling northbound attempted to pass another vehicle in a no-pass zone, and struck a 2007 Toyota Rav 4, traveling southbound. Both vehicles were totaled in the collision, and displaced from the scene by Yates Boys Towing.

The driver of the X-Terra, a 19-year-old man, sustained serious injuries in the collision, and he was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the Rav 4, a 71-year-old woman, and an occupant of the same vehicle, a 68-year-old man, both sustained serious injuries as well. They were both utilizing safety devices at the time of the collision. All three were taken to Cox Heath South—two by ambulance, and the driver of the Rav 4 by Air Care.
