According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a crash occurred on US 50 HWY at Route O in Pettis County when a 2012 Freightliner driven by Brady Douglas struck the rear of a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Ajamu Gilmore when Gilmore slowed down for traffic.
Gilmore slid off the roadway after being struck. The freightliner also slid off the roadway and the towed unit of the freightliner overturned.
Gilmore was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
