On June 8, 2024, a fatal motor vehicle collision occurred between a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia and a 2023 Chrysler Pacifica. The crash occurred on Interstate 44 in Laclede County, Missouri, near Lebanon. The Freightliner, driven by Manuk Gengozyan, crossed the median and struck the Chrysler Pacifica. The driver, Allan Borgen, was pronounced deceased on the scene, while the passenger, Isabelle Busse, was pronounced deceased at Mercy Hospital an hour later. Both occupants of the Pacifica were residents of Redlands California and were wearing seatbelts.
