The crash occurred on September 1st, 2024, around 7:00PM on the Gasconade River upstream from Pointers Creek. The 2002 gator boat was being operated by a 30-year-old individual. Passengers included two adults aged 21 and 29 as well as four juveniles aged 0, 4, 7, and 9.
