Three people were seriously injured after a crash in Miller County Friday morning.

The crash happened at 6:58 am on Highway 52, just north of Norman Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s online crash reports state Sonny Parkhurst, 54, of Hannibal, was driving south on Highway 52.

The patrol said Parkhurst’s Ford Taurus crossed the center line and hit the Ford Fusion driven by Linda Wieberg, 63, of Iberia, head-on.

Parkhurst and Wieberg, as well as Wieberg’s passenger Walter Wieberg, 67, of Iberia, were seriously injured.

Emergency crews took Parkhurst to Lake Regional Hospital.

Linda and Walter Wieberg were both flown to University Hospital.

Being involved in a car accident can be a terrifying experience, and sustaining a serious injury in the crash could make matters even worse. Due to the actions of a careless or reckless driver, you could face weeks or even months of recovery time for the injuries you sustained in a car accident. You should not have to take on additional stress and worry over the financial strain that your injury has caused.
